Sammy Weber

is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, music educator, public speaker, recording artist, and studio engineer. He performs on saxophones (tenor, alto, soprano), flute, clarinet, trumpet, flugelhorn, valve trombone, guitar, bass guitar, tenor banjo, vocals, violin, didgeridoo, and doumbek.  

Corrado performs Dixieland, Jazz, Swing, Bebop, standards, swing vocals, smooth jazz, jazz-rock, jazz-fusion, funk, R&B, bossa nova, Flamenco, Latin Jazz, pop, and more. He performs John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Louis Armstrong, Sam Butera, Michael Brecker, Boots Randolf, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Freddie Hubbard, Clifford Brown, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Richard Elliot, Gerald Albright, George Benson, Frank Sinatra, Kurt Elling, Tony Bennett, and many more.  

With a powerful voice and magnetic stage presence Lou Villano is truly a dynamic entertainer.  He has received praise from songstress Julie Budd  saying, "You are a fabulous singer … a major talent".  On May 18th, 2014 at a show in Fort Lauderdale at the Park Playhouse Theater, with over 1100 people in the audience, Lou was named 2014 Tri-Rail Senior Idol of South Florida out of 12 finalists !!

You may have seen Lou perform with the Hallandale & Sugar Pops Symphony Orchestras, at some of the outdoor festivals in Jupiter’s Abacoa, Port St. Lucie, or in many of the community theaters and clubhouses from Miami to Northern Florida.  In the summers of 2011 & 2012 Lou completed 3 week tours in the New York Metro area with shows in the Catskill Mountains, Dix Hills Performing Arts Center, North Shore Towers CC, and the Laurie Beechman Theater in New York City.  One of his favorite shows over the last 2 years is performing as the guest artist with Italian singer Franco Corso at the Lyric Theater in Stuart.  All this, along with the release & success of his debut CD album “Dreams Do Come True” keeps Lou very busy.

Lou has made a major impact on the musical community, and has established himself as one of the top performers in Florida. In part, his shows feature tributes to some of the great performers like Bobby Darin, Tom Jones, and The Rat Pack. Lou has recently created some fantastic new shows including,  “The  Legendary Voices of the 50’s & 60’s” featuring Paul Anka and Friends, “A Touch of Broadway”, and an audience favorite,  Lou’s signature “Remembering Mr. Show Business.… Sammy Davis Jr”.  

Lou has performed with Sal Richards, Tom Cotter, Steve Solomon, Maureen Langan, Bobby Kelton, Peter Fogel, Brad Zimmerman, Max Dolici, Carl Guerra, Rocky LaPorte, Wendy Liebman and singing legend Lou Christie. Besides singing, during his career Lou has enjoyed playing small extra parts in television's "Law and Order", "Third Watch", "Deadline", "The Sopranos" and the  USA Network series "Burn Notice".  

He even did a commercial for ITT!!

Like many of history's great vocal talents, Steve started singing from an early age. From the age of 10 through 13, Steve began his career performing on "The Children's Hour" TV show that aired on ABC Saturday evenings, as well as "Star Time", a popular NBC variety show. By the time he was in high school he formed his own acapella group called Steve and the Valatones. One can almost still hear the strains of those crisp clear harmonies from the pier at Palisades Amusement Park. The Valatones often shared the same bill with performers like Bobby Rydell. To supplement his income, Steve also did TV commercials and modeled clothes for the likes of Alexanders and Macy's. Steve also sang with a jazz trio, performing at various nightclubs and venues in and around Manhattan, and was a regular on WFAS broadcasting live on Saturday nights from Sergio's in Hartsdale where Frank Sinatra made the occasional appearance. Eventually, Steve joined the Larry Elgart Orchestra and began performing in earnest all over the USA and Canada, including the famous Riverboat in the Empire State Building. 

Upon being discovered by Cy Coleman when he was 23, Cy signed Steve to a contract and became his personal manager. Cy himself was already a legend, and wrote many hit songs for Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand, among others. "Witchcraft"..."The Best Is Yet To Come"..."Big Spender"..." Hey Look Me Over" are just a few of Cy's compositions. Cy also composed all the music for "Sweet Charity" starring Shirley Maclaine for which Steve sang the title track. He also performed Cy's music at popular New York City hotels like the Plaza and the Waldorf, singing with Richard Kiley and Jerry Orbach. New Yorkers who loved the Big Band sound could find Steve at the Rainbow Room where he performed 6 or 7 nights a week for 3 years (now that's a long gig!) at the world famous night club on the 65th floor of the NBC (now GE) building in Rockefeller Center. The band was so popular, they even broadcast a live TV special honoring Mary Martin of Peter Pan fame. Also on the show with Steve were Michael Feinstein and Nancy Wilson. 

Some of the musicians Steve has had the distinct pleasure of working with over the years include Michael Brecker... Steve Kuhn...Cameron Brown...Dave Finke...Billy Drummond just to name a few. Tony Bennett, paying Steve the ultimate compliment after catching the show late one night at the Rainbow Room, said to him..."keep singing kid...we need younger guys like you in the business... we need singers that can really sing the great standards".
