was born to parents who were both musicians, so it’s no wonder she became one as well. She soaked up Jazz from her parents, Motown from her older brother and sister, and moved to NYC becoming active in the music scene there.
The purity and range of her vocal skills, together with her excellent guitar playing opened the door for Mary to have the great fortune to record with jazz greats Gerry Mulligan, Max Kaminsky, Bucky Pizzarelli, TootsThielemans and Ray Barretto. Later she shifted into writing music for radio and television.
Patti Austin, Michael Bolton, VickiSue Robinson, Jonathan Edwards and Astrud Gilberto have recorded her songs. For years she wrote and sang jingles working with the top musicians and singers in the country. One of the jingles you may recognize is "Wait'll We Get Our Hanes On You"!!!
Mary’s repertoire includes popular music from the 1940’s to Today, for shows, listening and/or dancing !! Mary has performed at the finest hotels and clubs in New York City and the metro area, and for the last few years, throughout South Florida. Her talent, charm and elegance will definitely warm your heart and bring a smile to your lips!!
croons the Sinatra Songbook with all the suave finesse these songs deserve. Lariviere has a gorgeous voice and a polished delivery. More importantly, he has an obvious love for the lyrics to these songs, and the stories they tell. No tribute to Sinatra would be complete without "My Way", and his rendition of this iconic Sinatra tune at the close of the show was understandably met with a standing ovation."

Like many musicians, Marty got his professional start while still in his teens, performing dance music and backing up shows in numerous resorts in the famous Catskill Mountains in New York. He played sax, clarinet and flute, and even did a little singing to entertain the guests. Throughout high school, he played his instruments in the school band, and was always involved as a pit musician in the school’s Broadway-style musical shows. He later attended the prestigious Manhattan School of Music and played flute in the symphony orchestra. During his career in New York, Marty performed with his band in many clubs throughout Manhattan’s uptown, downtown and the Village. One highlight was playing at Shea Stadium with Murray the K (a famous DJ in New York) in a televised production in which his band was one of the groups on the same bill as Stevie Wonder, James Brown, and Frankie Valle and the 4 Seasons. He later toured with his band in Europe and South America.
Since coming to South Florida in the 70’s, Marty has excelled as a performer, both as a singer and an instrumentalist, and has appeared in venues from Key Largo to Orlando, including stops at Trump’s Mar A Lago and the Signature Grand. Audiences are always amazed by his great versatility. In fact he is known as the “Ultimate Performer” !! His vocal stylings in several different languages cover a wide musical range allowing him to be equally comfortable singing opera, Broadway and pop.
Marty is so proficient on various musical instruments that not only does he play saxophone, clarinet and flute during his shows, but he also performs on a very special Electronic Wind Instrument called an “EWI” (pronounced EEWEE ). This instrument looks like a soprano saxophone or a clarinet, but it electronically imitates the sound of 100 different instruments, with sounds as diverse as a violin, trumpet, bassoon and even percussion. As Marty weaves these effects into his show, audiences cannot help but be amazed and thrilled. Watching Marty in a show is an experience that can’t be missed. Like all his audiences, you will want to see this “Ultimate Performer” over and over!!
