Sammy Weber LIVE at Huntington Lakes
At the tender age of 3, little Sammy sat with his parents, front and center in the darkened New York City's Radio City Music Hall. As the orchestra rose from the pit and the lights on the music stands became visible, the inspiring sounds of the music filled his ears, and the sight of the violinists filled his big brown eyes.
Little Sammy started to imitate the movement of the violin bow across the strings with such passion, that his dad felt he had to go out the very next day and buy him a 1/4 size violin to fit in his small hands. The rest, as they say, is history.
As a young student, Sammy was enrolled at the Juilliard School of Music on scholarship where he later met and sat at the same stand of 1st Violins with Itzhak Perlman. Itzhak moved on, of course, to other things and Sammy eventually became the Concertmaster of that Juilliard Preparatory Division String Orchestra.
Over the years, Sammy has thrilled thousands of listeners with his bravura and energetic playing, and has also caused some tears with his lush tones and soaring melodies featured in all styles of music. You may have seen him as the bandleader on the Long Island Tonight Show, a local variety show featured on New York cable television. You may have even caught him playing at various hotels, supper clubs or shows.
His act is a musical weaving of all styles and moods that will take you on an international journey and leave you feeling both excited and enthralled. His personal charm only adds to his musical passion to create a thoroughly delightful experience.
